Continental Ticket Lines
Don't know whether this is the appropriate forum but...
While at DTW today picking up daughter attemted to buy CO tkt for which I had reservation. Two agents, fairly short line, but soon one agent started handling only first class. As NWA Gold suppose I could have entered first class line, but with only 3 in front of me I stayed put. My agent then took 30 minutes with the next 3, interrupted by long frequent visits to converse with a male friend outside the counter some 50 yards distant.
Finally my turn. She looked up, sighed, and then called for the next first class passenger. I pointed out that that would leave no one for the other passengers, but she was unmoved.
So I left the line and bought a more expensive NWA ticket.
Is this really CO policy?

the ticket lines stink. i frequently go directly to the regular lines because the ratio of agents to people-in-line is often better. i don't get the elite lines since the ratio is often worse than the regular line. thank god for e-tickets, carry-on bags an the Presidents Club.
