B class in F?

I just booked a trip BOS-SFO (BOS-IAH-SFO/-EWR-BOS)
they were the only flts with 1 F seat available, I asked them to use a few + space upgrade certificates, and they said ok, and said I Was confirmed in first, now, they sent out the PNR, and all segments showed me in B class. I called them back up, and the agent said that i was indeed confirmed in F, but they needed to say B so that the GA knows to take my certificates. They then gave me seat assignments in 1F for all my segments up front.

Has anyone else had this experience? I upgraded using + space certs one other time and they had me booked in F....

have you logged onto continental.com and verified your seat assignment and booking class?
