TLV Connection

TLV Connection
Has anyone every tried to connect to CO91 TLV-EWR? I need to leave AMM in the evevning and be in NYC the next morning. The only way to do this is to take an RJ flight AMM-TLV arriving 1045pm. Minimum intl-intl connect time for TLV is 90 minutes. CO91 leaves at 1155pm, only 70 minutes later. The other opion would be to take LY at 100AM but I would much prefer to fly CO than LY. I was thinking of booking tickets on both and then trying to get on CO when I get to TLV but having LY as a backup.
Any thoughts on how feasible this would be?

the problem is the check-in time @ TLV. Assuming you are travelling baggageless, and in J you could probably call CO in TLV and work it out somehow.
As long as you're transiting TLV the lines shouldn't be so bad.
