Help with the EUA workings
a friend who is Silver just informed that he was emailed by CO and that they uped him on his Thurs afternoon flight, which means at 42 hrs out he was uped! I thought Silvers can get it only 24 hrs B4. When he went to change his seat it showed nothing available when we know there are a couple that they hold onto.
But its strange as I would have thought no-way for a Silver to get the UP 42 hrs out.
Can anyone understand why it happened?

It's not 24 hours out, it's "1 day before." So if it's a late flight, it can be a good bit before 24 hours.
Plus, we know they're running them a bit on the early side lately (around this time of night).
So if the flight is on Thursday, they used to start running them at 12:01 a.m. CST Wednesday, and now they seem to be running them around 7pm CST Tuesday.
Tell your friend to consider him lucky. This Plat hasn't received an EUA in a while, let alone an early one!
