Check in time

Was wondering how early can you check in for a domestic flight if you are not checking any luggage? I can't find it on CO's website, and reservations said they weren't quite sure.

I've checked in 8-9 hours before CO flights with no problem.

Just curious....why did you check in for a flight so early?

to get a better spot on the upgrade list is a possibility. upgrades are done by elite level first and then by when you checked in (not by fare paid or when the ticket was purchased).

Once checking in at TUS for HP flights to LAX in the morning the ticket agent also checked me in for my CO red-eye out of LAX that night. (The TUS HP ticket counter also does CO) Once at LAS the CO ticket counter refused me check-in 4-1/2 hours before my flight, but the HP club agent had no problem checking me in.

Here in Arizona OnePass is going to be more like OneHalfPass after HP's gone.
