"OnePass Offers" e-mail...

I received an e-mail entitled "OnePass Offers." However, I did not have any offers per se, just some b.s. about how they won the Freddies (again), the ShopOnePass and how they're moving terminals in BOS.

What gives? this was nothing short of spam... there was not a single "offer" in this e-mail.

Pretty lame, I agree. However, without any 'offers,' it's probably further from spam.

When I read the email, the first thought that ran across my mind was "Oh god...This is definitely going to cause a ruckus on FT".

i agree, this smacks of spam not "offers."

moving terminals in Boston...how is that an "offer?" that is more news than offer, no?

my understanding is that an offer is a business proposition. i didn't get a say-so on the move to another terminal in Boston. ergo, i don't believe that was an offer.

maybe they consider it an offer of information??? that's a stretch, no?

Yup I fell for the same thing. It's a marketing ploy to get you to open up their email to you. And it worked. Just a brag sheet in my opinion.

Felt the same way as everyone else, but at least we didn't have to look at the same old, lame list of cities that no one wants to go to!
