CO/NW Code Share Upgrade

Which way do you stand a better chance of receiving an EUA, flying NW metal and ticketing using CO code share or NW flight numbers?

Chances are the same. The NW computers handle upgrades on NW operated flights ragardless of who sold you the ticket. As long as NW has your OnePass number, they will see your status and upgrade you appropriately.

Edited to add that you also won't receive an email regardless of how you book it. You'll need to view the itinerary online to see if you received an upgrade (phone call will work as well).

HappyMob,

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll book CO code share and see what happens.

Well one other point:

If for some reason EUA doesn't catch you at 5 days out, then the NW agents can usually manually over-ride EUA and place you in an empty F seat.

From what I understand, CO agents cannot do this anymore.
