Do you guys find that the staff in OAK is, shall I say, subpar? Everytime I work a flight out of there, they are soooooo curt and rude. I mean to crew and passengers. It seems like they are all running around with their heads up their a**. Just wondering what you guys have experienced and think about it. I am in the process of writing up the station as are several of my fellow crewmembers.

OAK ops are outsourced to DL I thought... that would explain it!
OAK is also the riff-raff low-yield airport, with all the WN and B6 there....

I understand OAK is the riff-raff, but the way I have seen them treat people, especially the plat in FC yesterday is waaaayyyyy out of line.

Agreed. OAK staff are defintely sub-par.
I'm not sure if it's because of the clientele at OAK (so many leisure travellers) or because the airport is a mess (long security lines, bad traffic), or because their operations are so scattered -- they have fractional use of several different gates since the facility is so crowded. Either way, I've seen some lousy attitudes from staff there.
They also have a problem handing gate upgrades -- I was on an OAK-IAH not too long ago and they had one empty seat, the FA asked the GA who to fill it with, the GA couldn't be bothered and said to pick someone, so they picked a non-rev pilot from another airline.
