Business Class

I will have a trip with Continental from zurich to san francisco with a stop in newark. I'd like to know what you think of the business class. Usually I fly with Air France, is Continental business better or worse than AF one?
Is there a huge difference beetween business class for the flight zrh/nwk and nwk/sfo?

Domestic first seating for the transcon route can be regular first class seats (737,757) or international equipment with standard business class (better than first class) seats (757,767). The transcon service is somewhat comparable with transatlantic service but less in quantity and quality.

Check www.seatguru.com for the seats, and search this forum on BusinessFirst (BF) service. In my opinion CO is better than AF (in J).

Enjoy your flight.

I like Co BF much better than AF. Better food ,service, attitude, and equipment. AF does have colorful pillows in orange, and blue, but when I flew they were using those so they did'nt have to change pillowcases. I prefer a clean pillow .

IMO, CO's BusinessFirst compares favorably with AF's "Old Travel Concent" Espace Affaires: a comparable (frequently better) seat, more attentive service, better food. Champagne and wine are better on AF, and AF's self-serve bar/snacks in the galley can be good, especially for daytime flights.

I agree with other opinions that the transon service quality varies with the eqpt, but it will be better than AFs intra-Europe service.
