HI awards
Does anyon know if its possible to book HI awards from the mainland to Hawaii on HI. The will be starting 767-300 service from SEA, SFO, Sacramento(?) etc in June. Is it possible to use OP miles for reward travel? Also, is it possible to connect say, EWR-SEA-HNL using OP miles. I culd not find the answer on the CO website.
Thanks

HA (Hawaiian Airlines) has announced non-stop service to Honolulu from three new mainland cities:
ONT (Ontario, CA), starting Jun 7
SMF (Sacramento, CA), starting Jun 7
PHX (Phoenix, CA), starting Oct 11
HA already serves SEA and SFO.
CO announced a partnership with HA last year, but it never became reality. The announcement was quietly pulled from the web site and all hopes that we would ever be able to use our OnePass miles on HA seemed to quietly evaporate.
I would love to be wrong on this...../sarcasm on/ but who needs HA when we have Azteca Airlines and Air Europa??? /sarcasm off/
PS, it is AQ (Aloha Airlines) that announced new mainland service to YVR (Vancouver) and BUR (Burbank, CA)

I almost forgot...
There is a slight chance that you might be able to do a EWR-SEA-HNL reward flight. Continental has two code-share flights from SEA-HNL with Northwest Airlines. The flights are CO 5925& 5945 SEA-HNL and CO 5924 & 5946 HNL-SEA.
Unfortunately, the CO seats on these flights are scarce. I have a hard enough time getting CO revenue tickets on these code-shares, much less a reward seat.
Good luck!
