772LR upgrade??

I've heard that CO, JL, and UA all have some sort of agreement with Boeing that their 772ER fleet will be "converted" to 772LR instead of ordering the new plane. I find this somewhat unline as Boeing has stated that the LR differs from the ER by 35% component structure. Can anyone affirm or shoot this down?

I'd imagine. They should call it the 777-400

Aside from the raked winglets, optional fuel tanks, and the big GEs, I'm wondering what's so truly different about it

Also, perhaps with it, they would offer IAH-SYD on behalf of themselves and "Wings" Shame they didnt support it the same as the 764
