EUA - Am I missing something here ?

Well, I know I'm just a lowly Silver but still I'm a very loyal customer. I know there has been tons of topics about EUA but I thought one more will not hurt.

I'm going ORD-IAH-PBI tomorrow and have been already upgraded on ORD-IAH portion last night. My first EUA email ever

The portion IAH-PBI stays:
A4 D4 F0 E0 for over a week. I went inside of AOW.com booked it and - there are 3 seats left. So, what's the trick here ?
It's not the first time I noticed that but I really don't feel like sitting IAH-PBI in coach (Y0 H0 K0 B0 V0 Q0 T0).

Anyway, my flight departs ORD at 7am but my flight to PBI gets out at 1:40pm (will have a meeting at PC Club at IAH) and I don't think the seats will be relased that long before the departure so I can get upgraded at ORD. Should I presure them at ORD and ask for the U at PClub in IAH?

I just don't want to loose the seats to Platinums or Golds No offense to you guys, just trying to survive

Thanks for any help

By the way, is the PClub at Continental Express Terminal in IAH before or after security? I want to invite my guest to PClub but he is not traveling that day so he won't be able to get through the check point.

Anyone?

Ohh, I had to add something. I just also checked ORD-IAH and for the past couple of days the situation was:
A4 D4 F4

I got upgraded last night (time window for Silvers) and today the situation is

you guessed it ..

A4 D4 F4

Man, this is confusing!!

EUA is not going to upgrade you as long as F=0. Unfortunately, the seats moving into F will not happen until tonight and as Silver, you'll be near the bottom of the list.

Thanks dbaker, I'll probably pass PClub anddo go to the restaurant instad. Are there any good ones around the IAH airport?

As far as EUA, DuhWane, what is that really mean A4 F4 and there are 3 seats left on ITN.com seat map? And is the IAH-PBI route really heavy? I know it will be almost impossible for me to get upgraded but you never know.

Also, my first EUA email today. I've had over 50 flights last year ... NEVER GOT IT!
I think they finally improved it

There is only one "restaurant" in Terminal C that will bring the food to the table. It's faux Cajun and only a slight step above the usual selection of Fast Food available.

Shhhh...don't tell the plat's and gold's but the sure fire way to always sit infront of the curtain as a lowly CO silver is to always fly NWA...hasn't failed me yet, but since you have a meeting at IAH, I'd call and ask for an upgrade now, ask at O'hare Ticket Counter, ask at O'Hare PClub, ask at gate, ask at IAH PClub, ask at IAH Gate...but given that you're connecting though IAH I wouldn't count on it happening...but keep asking you might get lucky

Yeah, I know what you mean. Last year I had 3 flights in coach as Silver on NW - 3! MEM-LIT!

Well, last trip ORD-IAH-LIT all first except the portion on CO Express.

I'm on the phone with Elite Line for upgrade on IAH-PBI. As DuhWane said, F=0, no upgrade

Wish me luck ..

Also thanks guys for the dinning info

hey, just wanted to throw some gas on the fire... here goes

Damian: personally I am convinced that you'll get your upgrade. Here's how... Your 7am flight to IAH should get in around 9:30. Your flight to PBI leaves at 1:30p, so by my count, be in the P-Club at around 10am and there should be about 4 seats in (F) that you can have just by asking.

Hopefully you'll get one and the Platinum that gets screwed will raise hell. Could I could ask you a favor? When you are sitting in FC enjoying your beverage of choice look for people w/ Elite tags and Priority Luggage tags... announce to them that you are a Silver and that you are curious if they got an upgrade too

I'm always eager to help an FT'er, so I sincerely hope you get your upgrade.

CO generally reserves the bulkhead aisle on the left-hand side for passengers needing assistance, and won't assign it until check-in. As such, it shows up as booked on the seating chart. So, the 3 seats you see + the 1 blocked seat = voila!

EUA failed me on my 2nd leg (IAH-ATL) for the 2nd night in a row for my five day plat window. It worked for the first leg. I called the Plat desk and was u/g as they said that it doesn't always work. She was very nice about it. I was impressed.

I got to O'hare at 6:00AM, went to check in and heard: no F class seat for IAH-PBI for you mister. I said all right and boarded the plane. Well, I'm at the PClub in IAH now. I got in here at 9:55AM and immidietely went to the desk and ask for an upgrade. Lady said I'm on the standby list and the computer will do it automatically

She said that won't happen 'til like .. 12PM. I thought: yeah, whatever. I knew what that means. I just checked AOW.com and the line up looks like this:
A0 D0 F0 E0 Y0 H0 K0 B0 V0 Q0 T0

Of course I'm still not upgraded and don't think they are "holding" the F seat for me to jump on before I board the plane.

It is kinda frustrating you know?
Goshh, I know you know.

Ehh, CO ...
