HNL Security question

Will be spending 36 hours in HNL on the last leg of my upcoming RTW trip - is there an Elite Access line for security in HNL? I am on CO 2 on 5/6 back to DFW through IAH - want to know how early I should be at the airport.

elite line at HNL

yes there is an elite line at HNL so I would give myself an hour minimum as there are many elites in HNL and a long walk to the gate

Look specifically for "GOLD LINE" if you don't see it proceed forward and ask the staff.

HNL is terrible about having elite lines for security screening. There's of course elite lines for CO check in but majority of the time I fly through HNL at security screening there's a roped off line and they try to make everyone stand in the long line. The screeners are also known (the front checker) for talking on a cell phone while making people wait for them to finish their call. There's usually no signs, so just walk up front and flash the ticket or the card showing your elite and they'll open up the second line for you.

Depends on your flight, if it's CO metal then you could be in for a walk down the way as usually IAH takes off away from the Presidents club. HNL isn't that bad of an airport IMHO, open air and decent, the PC is nothing like EWR or IAH but friendly IMO. Enjoy.
