Elite 2002 Packages

I was curious as to when the new elite packages get sent out. If anyone knows please let me know.

I finally got my bonus for signing up for email statements.

Just remember:
2001 OnePass Elite benefits are valid from March 1, 2001, until February 28, 2002, and are subject to change from year to year. Continental may change any aspect of the Elite program at the end of each years program, with or without notice to active members, regardless of the miles flown in the previous year. Changes may include, but are not limited to, changes affecting mileage accrual, the ability to obtain upgrades, mileage bonuses and other historical benefits associated with the Elite program. The Elite program commencing March 1, 2002, may not necessarily include all the benefits contained herein.

fly co to see the yanks, awfully nice of you to particpate then. Isn't it easier for you to simply ignore threads you don't approve of?

i didn't say i didn't approve. quite the contrary, as i have said in the past, it gives me quite a chuckle. again, guessing what is going to be in the worthless elite packages is like guessing the weather on nov. 16...2008. there are going to be some plastic bag tags (which don't get my bags out any faster), some rubber things to attach them to your bags (which i can never figure out), and some trinkets that CO got for free that don't weigh much so the price to ship them doesn't increase too much. ooooohhhh, i can't wait.

Nice try, happymob. Did you really think common sense would work in this particular case?

again, i love flyertalk. the topic on plats and the upgrade loophole (which isn't really a loophole, per se) is very interesting. HoKeY discussions, while somewhat like bludgeoing a dead horse, ARE informative. and, i love to b*tch about gordon (what's up with that george hamilton tan anyway?). but, looking into an elite package crystal ball is somewhat folly, no? esp. considering what MIGHT be in them (i.e., junk--and, free-to-CO-junk at that).

What the heck does the weather in NOV -- Huambo, Angola -- have to do with the Continental forum?

i can't even find the weather for Huambo, Angola on weather.com! I'm so confused. If only "Fly Continental Airlines to see the New York Yankees" hadn't used an abbreviation!

Oh the Horror!!!!!!!!!!
