Any Fare Discount Codes?

My sister wants to go to EWR-Las for a long weekend the end of January. Are there any discounts for fares other than the Entertainment Book? Thanks.

Can you please elaborate on the discount code for the Entertainment book? I have not heard of this before.

Thanks.

In the Entertainment Book there is a discount for CO and NW. You need the code from the book and your Entertainment Card #. It's 15% off most fares except for travel to/from Newark, Houston, Cleveland, Detroit, Memphis, Minn/St. Paul and Amsterdam which only get 5%. There are some blackout days and a Saturday night is required.

No Sunday travel this year! This really makes it a lot less useful for me. And you can't use it with T fares on CO.

If your sister who looks 39 and is over 62 wants to join, there is the senior discount membership that she can purchase. This will get her a 15 or 20% discount depending on the days she travels.
If your sister is under 39 disregard the above.

On Travelocity, that route at that time prices out nominally at $238. How much cheaper than that do you need it to be? This is one of the lowest prices for this route (other than one day $75-90 specials on NW) that we have ever seen.

NJDavid, I can't get that fare for the dates I need. I wanted fares that I could upgrade with miles and the best I could find is $270.

I'm happy to help if you e-mail me the particulars. You can also look at availability on NW for upgrades with one-pass miles.

I have used it may times. You will get a 15% discount on flights that are not to and from CO and NW hubs. If you fly into or out of a hub, 5% discount.

Thanks to everyone for your advice, especially to NJDavid who who did considerable research trying to help me out. I ended up with AA.
