posting of American Eagle codeshare
Has anyone else besides me taken the American Eagle (codeshare) SAN-LAX or LAX-SAN flights?
If so, I'm very interested to know how long it took to post to your OnePass account. Everyone at OP has told me "4-6 weeks" but it's been well over 2 months now and I haven't seen it.
Just wondering if this is par for the course or if I should send those boarding passes in. (They have been insisting on originals, and I really don't want to have to do that...)

I have taken the Monterey-LAX AE codeshare many times, and it usually posts quicker than my NW flights do. Good luck trying to get it credited, most people at CO and OP don't even know this code-share exists. Just trying to make these reservations, I sometimes have to insist "YES, you do have such a flight!" Even harder still when I did a DTW-CLE on NW, then CLE to LAX on CO, then LAX-MRY on AE and my luggage didn't show up... Try resolving that!

I took an LAX-FRESNO roundtrip on American Eagle 3 weeks ago and I have yet to receive credit for my trip either.
The ONLY reason I flew AE was so that I could be given One Pass credit. Otherwise - United Express' service is far superior.
I am going to copy those boarding passes and send them in per your suggestion - but it is frustrating that we have to do that.

If you only did an LAX-FRESNO (FAT?) and back, I'm not sure that you'll get miles. As I understand it, to get the code-share, and hence miles, you have to be connecting TO or FROM a Continental flight (or at least a flight with a CO flight # anyway). Just doing an LAX-FAT or LAX-SAN won't count.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi! Just registered but have been looking on for a few months...thanks for all the great info!! I have done SAN-LAX twice in the last month and neither leg has posted. I called OPSC and have received several conflicting responses. Basically, they told me that they will never automatically post and that every time I fly these routes on AE I will have to submit my boarding pass AND ticket receipt, which seems ridiculous to me. Also, they insisted that I send them the originals which makes me nervous. Anyway, that is what I know about this situation.

Now I'm curious about the person who said that CO told him/her you had to send in the passes manually.
Lately CO has been rejecting my mileage credit requests because I haven't sent in the ORIGINAL boarding passes. Even for HP flights. I too get very nervous about sending in originals.
Has anyone successfully gotten the SAN-LAX AE flight credited at all? That's the million-dollar question today.
Oh, and Kansasbug, were you going to and coming from CO flights when you took the AE flights?

I flew SAN-LAX codeshare on American Eagle 3 weeks ago connecting onto a CO LAX-BWI flight. It posted less than a week after the CO flights did. I didn't have to send anything in.

I don't know the answer to the million dollar question, but just to throw my .02 cents back into the mix, CO does have codeshares with AE on flights to SAN, as well as MRY,FAT,SBP,SBA, and PSP. As I said, my AE segments have always posted like clockwork.

hi srodr,
was your LAX-BWI flight on Continental? You mean connecting in EWR right?

Update...I was connecting to LAX-IAH-MCI both times and both times nothing has posted. I sent in my originals (made copies for myself) with ticket receipts yesterday. Will let you know when (and IF) they post. I can't understand why they are posting for some and not for others....anyway

Okay, not to be repetitive...just checked onepass account online and one of my SAN-LAX posted today as 500 base miles, 54 silver elite bonus, 500 double mile promotion...but I have yet to see my segment from September. I wonder if it has anything to do with my many calls to OPSC yesterday? Hmmmm. I guess elite bonus figured on actual mileage?

Hey Kansasbug,
The same (almost) thing just happened to me too. I took a SAN-LAX this past weekend and the miles just posted today (hurray!)
However, my SAN-LAX and back from late Aug/early Sept. have yet to be seen.
I sent in copies of the boarding passes 2 days ago, let's see what happens!
good luck
