Seat Assignment
I'm leaving IAH on 4/6/05 after the FT party (and a side trip to Dallas) headed to LGW on CO34. Returning LGW-IAH, IAH-SMF on 4/17/05. I was able to get seat assignments for the returning legs online, but not the outgoing flight. I called and they said that CO34 is under airport control and I have to wait 'til check-in. It seem awfully early for airport control. Is this normal? Any suggestions on getting a seat assignment before the gate?
