When is CO going to do SOMETHING?

...To encourage future travel. Let's see, off the top of my head; AA,DL,TW,& UA are offering 2x miles. AA,DL,US, UA have discounted award tickets. NW, FL, and HP are having fare sales of their own.

The sale fare that CO advertises doesn't help me a lot, 21 day advance purchase is a joke. Continental is the only airline I truly like flying, but I just might use the services of others over the next month and half. When is CO going to join in?...or is it just me??

I probably am speaking to soon. With my luck, there will be an announcement tomorrow!!

Haha...I knew it!! I swear I have the worst timing. Sorry folks!

On a positive note, it is great to see that CO has now stepped up to the plate.

I know...I wish they would've. I am very happy with what CO decided to do, but for me, I would have liked to see the awards levels discounted as well. Reason being, I already qualified for elite next year, and since I am in my early 20's, I currently lack the funds to make mileage runs to reach the next level. Can't win them all I guess!!

Oh, the reason I think they didn't follow with the discounted award tickets... they already have coach award tickets at 20,000 miles since it is off-peak, and they have international destinations 1/2 off for 17,500 miles.
