Last October I made Micronesia F plans for travel in January (high season). (Including EWR-NRT in C)!
Mind you, I had to be a little creative. The HNL-GUM Island hopper showed no availability. But broken down ,it was available on all but one leg. SO we ticketed it as conections rather than a direct flight.

Award tickets out here are almost impossible to get on line. First the site does not recognize the date line very well and they do have limited seats. I've never been able to get first in an award, there's only about 10 seats in first and two are reserved for the spare captain (island hopper flies three pilots and one mechanic at all times) and the last reserved is given out towards the end.
If you're going Palau it's easier to go through Guam not on the island hopper. If you're looking at Majuro of Pohnpei or Chuuk then you're best off calling and calling early. When we use miles to go to the US we book almost a year in advance but we're going with 6 award seats.
Good luck, my best success is to call, leave all the data and let them call me back when they complete the task.
