When does CO release FF seats???

When does CO release FF seats???
I am sure this has been asked before but i tried a search and i am not sure how to word it??? Back in march, my sister tried to get 4 FF seats to orlando from NYC area - JFK, LGA & Newark the first week in november, hardly a "hot" travel time!!!....she was really given the run-around..they would not tell her when these seats would be released or if they would be released - they called several times (5-6) over a 4 week period and could get no answer...finally gave up and booked another airline...i know at american, you can book FF 330 days before the fly date...does anyone know what the policy is??? Thanks

I've been told at times that they first 'release' some seats a week or so after the seats are released for purchase, which is the 330 days out. Then I think they release more at times due to load factors. Keep in mind as well that sometimes seats are available for Elites, but not for non Elites. Also, as far as first week in November to Florida---New Jersey schools are closed for a few days for Teacher Convention--VERY difficult to get FF seats to Florida.
