As for the seats on the MD-80s, IMHO it doesn't matter where you sit, it's cramped. FC on those planes is excruciating, my knees are always wedged up against the seat in front of me. (I'm almost 6' BTW).

I don't think there's a good seat - except for maybe the side with 2 seats in coach.

If comfort is your thing I'd try for bulkhead row when you get to the airport if they can't assign it over the phone.

Good luck!

Regarding breakfast, it really depends on the length of the flight. I've been in FC EWR to CLT and been served a beverage only, to ATL sometimes a fruit plate & a cold bagel, to ORD perhaps cold ceral or an omelet. Generally, it is not anything to get excited about.

Hey, emmett_s, hope this helps:

Yes, if that person is on the same itinerary. (You may get some dirty looks at EWR.)

<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">2. what food service do they have foor moring flight in first class and in coach at 9:00am</font>
Depends on the length of the flight. If you look up the flight number on the CO web site, it should like meal, snack, or lack thereof.

<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">4. what is that boarding order.</font>
People with special needs; FC; OnePass Elite (sometimes Plat first, then lower tiers); seats from the back of the plane.

Hey emmett_s...

Tell us where you're going (flight # would help) and we can give you more info.

emmett,

The trip duration on #1682 is 1:40, and 1:25 on #1792. The longer trip time to BUF probably reflects extra time to taxi around EWR prior to take off.

I would be surprised if they served anything, quite honestly. It's a "short" flight.

I've done the BUF run to/from EWR a few times this year, and haven't received anything beyond a beverage service. The actual flight time is usually around 40 minutes, so it is really short.

emmett_s, no meal service is scheduled on either of your two flights due to their relatively short duration.

By the way, I believe your outbound (EWR-BUF) aircraft is an MD-80 and your return (BUF-EWR) is a 737.

Happy Travels!
