Printed Timetable Changes
I was reading the new printed timetable for June 14 through September 5, 2001 and noted two changes.
First, CO has gone back to listing all 757 flights including those previously listed as 752 as "757." Now it is impossible to tell which domestic 757 flights have the BF seating without going online and looking at seating charts. Does this change irk anyone else? After all CO just started listing 752 flights a few months ago in the timetable. Why take the listing away?
Second, CO now lists both M80 and M81 aircraft in the timetable. I was not aware CO had two types of MD 80 series aircraft. I thought they were all the same type and due to be retired in the next couple of years. Anyone have any more info on whether CO uses two different MD 80 series aircraft? Why would CO take away the 752 listing but add a M81 listing?

Yes, Continental does operate different versions of the MD-80, specifially the MD-81, 82 and 83 series of which they had 7, 58 and 2 respectively. Not sure if this is the actual number of aircraft flying today, but it once was.
