How long do comps take?
I know that half the questions on this board are about comps and I am sure everyone is sick of answering questions about them, but I did have a question that I wanted to know the answer to. I faxed a copy of my statement and card (delta gold medallion) today, about how long does the comp process take. Just wondering

Mine took less than a week to upgrade in the system. About 3 weeks to receive the new card in the mail.

So would you say about a week to be updated in the system is typical?

I have no idea what is typical, as this is the only time CO has ever comped me status. I'm sure it varies, but if you faxed info to a specific person, under a specific program, and they were expecting it, then I'm sure it won't take long...good luck.

I faxed mine in (to no one in particular) and was surprised to see that my new status was reflected within a few HOURS. This was about 1 1/2 years ago.

I FedEx'd my items and it was updated that same evening - that was in October

Yes, it is intresting how electronic modifications such as status level can be made in in minutes or at least made same day , but to electronicly transfer miles to HHonors takes 90 days. B.T.W.,

I received my comp status within one week of sending in the fax (last December)
