question for elites

I'm new to being an elite. In fact, I recently flew HP on my first ever class upgraded ticket. We flew PHX to SAN in coach and I received an upgrade to first on the return trip 2 days later.
My question, the flight over posted normally to my onepass account three days after the flight. The return has still not posted (over a week ago). I always assumed that when a coach passenger was upgraded, they still received mileage credit for the flight (of course at the coach level). Am I wrong? Is it upgrade or miles, not both? Thanks....

You get the credit as your purchased fare, correct. HP is generally extremely slow to post OP miles, so give it a few weeks. Otherwise, you'll have to mail your receiept and boarding passes to the Onepass Service Center in Houston.

Out of curiosity, how are you new to being elite, yet Platinum on Continental?

I meant new to Continental Elite. Platinum was a status match offered to my company by Continental. I was previously Plat Medallion on Delta (which I no longer use).
All my other HP flights have posted in 2-4 days to onepass account. Any ideas why not this one?

America West sucks and this is just one of the things that you have to deal with as a result.

The real fun begins when you realize that you didn't keep your HP receipt that OP requires to post the segments to your account. You wouldn't believe some of the stories that I have about trying to get a receipt out of HP. (I'm going to try and get a friend of mine to post his recent story)

The true "America's Worst" experience doesn't end when you get off your last flight.

Good luck.
