Perhaps a dumb question but....
I just made Platinum and I am so excited. I haven't even received the packet yet. I just want to make sure....How long will my current status, just granted, be good for? Will it be through the remaining current year and then through 2002 or what? The statements always say, "you need so many miles to achieve this status for 2002". It's a little confusing.. If I just made platinum, and it now says I need so much to qualify for platinum in 2002, what does that exactly mean?..thanks

Hi, pointman, and congratulations.
If you've already flown 75,000 miles this year, you've qualified for Platinum for 2002. You'll also get it for the rest of 2001.
