BF AC to santo domingo

any clue as to why CO operates 762's and 752's to santo domingo?

is that route that busy? are those BF seats best used on that route?

I believe they use the big birds on this route for a couple reasons, with the primary one being the fact that they can usually more than fill the back of the bus and the second being an ability to schedule this flights in the daytime rotation before they go over the pond.

Latin luggage problems, too.

The main reason that SDQ uses wide-bodies on a regular basis is that all the luggage that doesn't fit on POP and STI flights can be put on this aircraft, and the pax from those 2 destinations can get their luggage on the same day. Also, before Jetblue started flying to SDQ (they are soon pulling out however), there was the increase competition. Maybe the 764 will come back to this route soon. The prices can be as high as $700 r/t over the holidays.
