No EUA e-mail from NW?
Don't worry, you're not alone. The EUA now seems to work on NW flights but apparently the e-mail notification system has not caught up.
You still need to call CO in the morning to verify that the upgrade happened and to check seat assignments.

No need to call, just go to www.nwa.com and click on "View Travel Reservations" under "Travel Planner." Alternatively, you could just use NW's Internet Check-in (up to 24 hours in advance) which will allow you to change your seat.
