Codeshare with VS
When flying with Continental on a Virgin Atlantic aircraft how easy is it to be comped up from coach to Upper Class? I live in the UK and it may be better for me to buy a CO ticket rather than a VS as I understand that CO have 10 upper class seats on each flight.

The short answer is...it's possible, but it requires far more work than you'd expect. Another reason to...

It seems the only way possible is through an operational upgrade. I guess as Gold and Platinum Elites we are just not considered Upper Class.
And those on the Freeway (Miles that is) would run us over if they did start bumping a full coach cabin to Business! Does our CO Elite status reflect in Virgin's passenger records?
Any way to redeem CO miles solely for a Virgin business class ticket??

It'll cost you either 100K or 200K miles, depending on availability. 'Tain't cheap, and you don't earn miles that way.
