A question for CO PLT
Is there a special bonus for CO Plats or Infinite Plt where they receive 1 and 1/2 times the mileage they fly on a segment with a maximum of 1500 bonus miles per segment for using an E ticket. It's supposed to be an E ticket bonus. I know about the 99 dollar OP program special they currently have. Someone is claiming CO is giving thek all these bonus miles just for using an E ticket. Thanks

I'm not sure I understand the question. I believe you are talking about the unpublished e ticket bonus. That bonus is earned by GOLD and PLAT members on E-tickets purchased directly from CO by PHONE not online. The bonus is 50%. There are other bonuses, if this is not the one you mean.

Sorry for the confusing wording. I was told someone who is an Infinte Plat is receiving a mileage bonus of 50 percent specifically for using an E ticket. That seemed to be quite a bonus and I was wondering if was really true.

I believe that any type of Elite member gets a 50% e-ticket bonus, if the ticket is booked over the phone directly with CO. I've gotten these bonuses both as a Silver and Gold Elite member and have never been a Platinum, so this particular bonus is definately not limited to Platium members.

Silvers get the 50% e-ticket bonus, too. In fact, one doesn't even have to be an elite.
I made one reservation today for me and one for my wife. Now that I'm elite, I decided to try the phone route, rather than Internet, to see if I'd get the 50% bonus.
After making the reservation, the agent blurted out, "You'll get a 50% e-ticket bonus." I was thrilled, so after booking my wife's ticket, I asked if she'd get it too. The agent said yes. Playing dumb, I asked what that bonus was all about. She said CO's marketing department randomly selects OP members for it, and both my wife and I had been selected. My wife isn't elite, either (at least for another week).
Should cash in on that trip. 50% e-ticket bonus, 50% silver bonus, 100% OAL hub promo bonus (see other thread on board). All I need now is Amex deal to come along in the next day before I call back and actually buy!
