CO and VS codeshares
Does anyone have any idea why CO doesn't codeshare with VS on their ORD-LHR flight? Is it because the flight is rather new? As an elite based in Chicago, I'd find this flight pretty convenient.
Also, can anyone see them expanding their c/s relationship to include Athens, Cape Town, or JNB? Has CO tried?
Just a thought...

My understanding at the inception of the CO-VS arrangement was that CO was extermely anxious to get a toe into Heathrow, even if via the limited vehicle of 10 seats in Upper and 50 Economy seats on the selected VS flights (these numbers vary on some flights).
Maybe the ORD-LHR flight didn't exist when the deal was signed (or maybe CO doesn't feel it has pax who fit their profile).
Because of the LHR factor, I don't forsee any CO "purchase" of seats on VS's Euro/African/Asian services.
