DLJdirect.com 10k onepass points
$10,000 to open account gets you 10,000 onepass points. keep the account open for six months. limit is one account per family.
not bad but not as good as TDWaterhouse... $10k gets you 10k points with AA or Delta, can open 3 different accounts, read the fine print about how to open 3 accounts. i got 30k AA points with 3 accounts.

go to their main page www.dljdirect.com and click on the "special promotions" button on the left. you'll see the continental banner.

You may need to be aggressive in following up with DLJ to make the mileage award request with CO.
On separate but related threads, complaints were raised that the miles weren't posting.
I myself had to contact DLJ no fewer than 4 times about 2 months after opening and funding the account.

The matter of being aggressive with DLJ also applies to TDWaterhouse. I had to send formal letters to division VPs to force them to give me my 30k points. I also had to do the same with AMEX when they had an email promotion involving a money market account and 10k points.
The usual excuse is that the process of crediting points is a manual process and there are too many people signing up for the promotions and too few people to handle the workload.

Looks like DLJ has upped the ante to 15k
I don't see anything that states why there's a difference of 5k points from what is on their promotions page. I would print all pages and keep them just in case you only get 10k posted.
