CO in PHL used to be a good deal, but recently their pricing has become unfathomable. I have been looking to make two trips (one to SFO the other MSY in April), and have been watching PHL, ZFV, and EWR. In the last week the EWR pricing to SFO (out Wed-back Friday) has gone from 278 to 660. The PHL pricing is at about 580 and ZFV is even at about 500. NW out of PHL is 278. I have some flexibility, but will not be made a fool of. Plus, for the EWR-MSY non-stops, the dreaded 6 FC seat 735s make most of the runs.
Is it any wonder that we get forced to NW?

PHL is horrid. Lines are long, going through security is annoying, even if you have US status, and getting to it from NJ is a pain.
I'm flying a CO MR outta PHL in Feb (PHL-CLE-IAH-SEA and back), and a trip to SEA via IAH in April. I'd prefer to go thru EWR, but the hub fares are too expensive right now.
