Early Upgrade?
I am a Gold and was upgraded yesterday evening (the 1st) for two legs on the 5th. They were PHL-IAH and IAH-AUS. Am I confused or did it happen early? All legs are 'N' fares.
Thanks,
jk

Odd EUA here too
Doing a mini-mileage run this week - leave on the 5th and return on the 6th - expected the EUA on the 30th & 31st. Oddly enough both came through on the 1st (I would of expected the out bound to clear one day and the return the next). Maybe there are some software updates the EUA computer is still working out.

I got a Gold upgrade a day early over Thanksgiving. I wonder if they do this when the FC load looks totally open.

As a platinum, I often I get mine 6-7 days out. It balances out when I'm in the back and we leave with empties up front.

I often wonder if this happens when coach is showing Y0 while first is F9 and they figure there may be some more (last minute) coach seats to sell.
Running EUA early see,s to typically open that Y or lower inventory.
...it's just a guess.
I hope to never fully understand how an airline's pricing structure operates.
I'd assuredly sleep even LESS.

As a CO SE, got upgraded to on a flight that's still over 48 hours out. Interesting thing is, it's a NW-ticketed, NW-metal flight. Guess it's not just the CO EUA system that's 'suprising and delighting' it's elites...
