First class LAX-EWR

This is my first time flying first class on CO. What are some of the perks? For example, at LAX and EWR are there seperate check in lines, security lines, first boarding etc? How is the food for the flight or should we just eat before? Thanks for all responses.

OK, I'll volunteer: First, welcome to Flyertalk! Second, have you tried the handy search function at the top of the screen? Lots of information posted on this topic. Happy hunting!

You will really like it.. CO has a superior first class product IMO..

Use the search function and you will find a lot of threads.. here is a good start.

What time is your flight from LAX-EWR. The CO planes with BF seats are fantastic compared to standard F seats.

If you are on a 737, leather seats. Food is good and you might get the hot fudge sundae. Not sure of the status of sundaes at this point. If you are a 757 or 767 expect the BF seats and some good food. Enjoy and welcome to FT. Ohh yeah the BF seats will have IE at your seat. No IFE at your seat on the 737.

You will have good food and excellent service. The breakfast will be a fruit plate followed by eggs and meat. There is also a cereal option.

There are first class / elite check in perks. You won't have to wait in line with the unwashed UA masses that use the same security check point. Just enter the elite lane to clear security if you have a first class ticket.

No ice cream sundae on a morning flight. Only for dinner service.

There will be one movie and you will receive a free headset. There is no in seat IFE on the 738.

The sundaes are, as of this moment, not in jeopardy. If I see a memo that they're leaving, I promise I will run right over to FT and warn you all - k?

How'd this get started anyway? One person didn't get a sundae on one single flight or some such thing?

I turned down the sundae on a BF flight in July. I just didn't feel like it, plus my kids ate sundae's the entire flight to EWR, so I was concerned that they would run out.....

You can only imagine how hyper they were from EWR-IAH!!!!!!

I did have it from EWR-POS, what is it about having ice cream on a plane, it just seems so damn luxurious.......
