CO - HH miles transfer

CO - HH miles transfer
I exchanged 35000 Continental miles for HH points back in January. They have gone from the CO account but have yet to credit the HH account. Is this normal?

It shouldn't take that long... Give them a call and see what the status is. Let us know what they say.

The good part is that HH will let you go minus while waiting for the exchange. They know how slow the airlines are... 
When I exchanged 20K back in Oct for a PTS5 award, CO told me it would take 60-90 days for the transfer to be complete.
I called them around 85 days and they said it would be done in the next 2 weeks. It was, but that's over 3 months to complete.
CO admits they are very slow with transfers; conversely I t'ferred 10K from TW for the same award and it was completed in 11 days!

Sadly, for CO this seems to be normal. When I transfered miles to Hilton in October, I waited over 60 days and finally called OnePass. They gave me the number for the department within CO that deals with the transfers to HHonors. After I called them, the transfer was done within 2 days.
