Y2K Problem on One-Pass Site?
I found something minor, but interesting on the One-Pass site. When I checked my 'Current Account Info', it stated on the left hand side that my 2000 Elite Level is Platinum, that my 2000 mileage is 0, that my 2000 segments is 0.
If you look on the right hand side, it states, To Qualify for 2000 Elite Level Platinum, I need 75000 Miles or 90 segments.
So, on the left hand side, it says that my 2000 elite level is already Platinum, but on the right hand side, it says that I need to qualify.

If I recall correctly it was doing the same thing last year, probably they have to change 2000 to 2001 manually.

I didn't think I requalified for Gold (I think I was several segs short) yet it's telling me the same thing. On the left side it's saying Gold for 2000 and on the right that I need 60 segs to requalify for 2000.
Is it possible that they are saying I was Gold LAST year?

I believe that CO's Elite levels don't expire until Feb each year. Might that be what you are seeing?

I believe that is correct.
Your mileage for 2000 would be zero if you have not taken a flight in the last couple of days.
You have achieved Platinum for 2000 by virtue (I assume) of your 1999 activity. That is, you achieved Platinum in 1999, which is also good for 2000.
This is more confusing terminology than Y2K.
And speaking of Y2K... Did anyone see Sam Donaldson take credit on behalf of the media for the lack of problems? According to Sam, had they not created a media-frenzy, nothing would have been done.
Maybe Sam just had a few magnums too many before going on-air.

Yeah...it's definitely confusing. I think someone needs to take a look at it.
But I'm just impressed that it already showed my silver status, which I qualified for on 30th December!

The Current Account Info page was updated this morning, it now shows "2000 Elite Level" and "To Qualify for 2001 Elite Level"
The online Elite Members Guide continues to show the 1999 Elite program.

You are right, it has now been corrected.
I had not made Platinum for the 2000 year (only requalified for Gold), yet the site (briefly) showed that I had (since I was previously Platinum). I wonder if I could take the printout and give it to them and see if they would honor the Platinum status because it stated that I had it.
