two differnet stories
ywas glad that i got platinum this year and i hope to keep. The other day i called the elite line to ask about priority handling tag as my trip on Dec 10,1999 is coming and i cant find it. so i asked this lady who i thought was a great help what happens if i cant find my elite tag well they tag it at the airport. she told me yes if they have my elite number they will priority tag it for me. today is tuesday 12/7/99 i called this moring as i write this same question but this lady sayed no they dont tag your bag with priority only firstclass and bunisessfirst so i need help does anybody know the right info if yes email

I suggest two options: (I'm a Flight Attendant not a Customer Service Representative)
1.) Call the line again and ask to speak to a supervisor, jotting down his/her name, and ask them to clarify the question.
2.) You might post this same question on TRIP.com's "Hot Talk" and ask for help from a poster named Gate A-1 (a Continental Employee who works as a CSR in CLE).

I had a detailed explanation, but then I noticed who asked the question.
This is the same individual that was looking for 'used' Elite/Chairmans/status cards earlier this year on The Buzz board, as phone numbers to the Elite center because he 'lost' his card on the CO Board, and similar requests on the Delta board.
