Thanks for the link, Boomer. Only discouraging note: the attitude towards Wings. They do a goood job of articulating the problem with KLM, but I don't get it that they get that many of their customers want CO to be part of an alliance.

Dgolds: My reaction to Gordon's points about wings was the same as yours.
CO membership in wings would be a plus, but if its at the cost of great CO service from NY to europe/mid east then its too high a cost.
I also found it interesting that NW put their 51% voting rights in trust for 10 years. Hopefully this would mean CO will have a Y2009 problem
