Sorry - I am nowhere close, but for conversations sake, what did you get for the bump?

Only a 300 TCV, and 16 in meal voucher. Also confirmed F seat on the flight that I'm taking. Although I'm starting to think that 7 hour delay (well, now 6 hours left) is worth more than 300... The gate agent commented that CO has been trying to pay less for VDBs, both domestic and intl.

I usually take what I can get after a gentle attempt to push higher. Confirmed F and $300 seems okay - what is your destination?

Is $300 still looking good to you now?

Not really, I'm tired, got a lack-luster salmon at Papadeaux with my dinner vouchers (should've tried the food at the Fox Sky Box instead...). I'll feel better when I get to USE that voucher for a nice long international trip. Either to HKG or NRT, or maybe CPH or PRG, maybe INN or VCE. So many options....ahh, thinking about THAT makes the $300 look somewhat better now

On a side note, I tried to get on an earlier flight, but was told that flight already has 15 standby's.

Glad you asked! I did ask about that, and the gate agents said that they're not allowed to. They did say that they would like to, to introduce people to the Pclub product, but management would like to maintain the "integrity" of the club

That's kind of stupid, I'd take a PC pass and a F upgrade for a bump. Thats got to be cheaper then free travel..

I got to see the new terminal for the first time last week - pretty snazzy, but not 6 hours worth of snazzy. But it would be fun thinking of ways to spend that free $300 worth of flying!

If you are thinking about the Alps, I might suggest flying in to MUC and taking the 2 hour ride train down to Kitzbuhel, which is a great little mountain town and a lot less touristy. Then again, flying in to INN would be fun if it is possible on codeshare.

When I have a long wait in Term E, I usually hang out by Brookstone and sit in the message chair.. I tell ya, that sure feels nice after/before another flight.. course dealing with the high pressure sales people is kinda lame but you still get a free message out of it

Papadeaux also has free wireless if you know the code..

I tried one of those chair in Delta's club at SFO. It had a small charge for a couple minutes, but it was very relaxing.
