High Winds in NY?
I am sitting in the PC here at LAX and I heard that there were some very high winds in the NY area? I am on a 4pm slight to EWR (no upgrade, but I had a better chance of having Gordo mix my martini that get a transcon upgrade) and heard that there have been problems.

Winds are gusting up to 40-50 miles an hour. Don't mean to scare you but an AA flight from Miami got hit by high winds last night and several passengers were injured.

My flight is still showing on time. Are those delays at EWR still going on?

What a ride!!
Just came in from IAH to LGA. We were a little over an hour late. The final approach/ landing was by far better than any roller coaster I have ever been on!!! Enjoy the ride.

It was a very windy day, but it seems to have died down now. Hopefully flights are starting to catch up.

Flew BOS-YYZ late last night on a RJ, and it was a lot of fun. Rough both on takeoff and on landing. I slept through most of it, but I did wake up just in time to watch the RJ rock back and forth in the wind quite severely, with the YYZ runway clearly in sight just underneath us. We landed without incident, though. But the shuttle driver to my hotel had trouble driving straight, because the wind was rocking the van so severely.

Did DTW-HPN last night. Many pax heading to EWR, LGA and JFK were negatively impacted. For whatever reason, our ancient RedTail DC9 left in a timely manner. Now, if only my bags make it, I wont have to go to this wedding attired like that guy in the wheel well at LAX.
