Gate "110A" at EWR
I'm going to be on flight 3319 tomorrow (EWR-IAD) on an EMB145 (my first time on CO on anything other than a 737 or 757).
I noticed my boarding pass says gate "110A".
According to the EWR map:
http://www.continental.com/travel/airport/maps/ewr.asp
This gate doesn't exist.
Normally the BP's print like "C84" if it's terminal C, gate 84. Continental doesn't have anything in the 100's range at terminal A, and there are no "#A" gates on the ewr-C map on continental.com -- I just want to check, is this actually some new gate (newer than the map) at terminal C, next to gate 110?

Some of the ERJ/SRJ gates at EWR do not hook the jetways to the planes but you go down some stairs and walk to your plane. It might be that they started parking more than one jet next to the gates and marrk the gate with A,B. Anyway, your gate is 110 in terminal C.

Yes, you're in the 110A/B dungeon at the end of the concourse. It's not exactly the most pleasant part of the terminal.

That's where they drove a MD-80 into the terminal a few years ago!

Only Atlanta, Chicago, and Dallas leave from Terminal A. All other CO leaves out of Terminal C.

IIRC, the lower level gates are 115 and 98-99.

Gates for Terminal A are all in the 20s. ie. 24, 25, 26, 27.
Gates for Terminal C are in the 70s, 80s, 90s, 100s, 110s, 120s, and 130s, depending on concourse.
Gate 110A is in Terminal C. Recently, CO split most (if not all) of the gates in the 100/110 concourse and added an additional jetway at each gate so they could service two jungle jets at the same time. Hence gate 110 became gates 110A and 110B.
