Reward Availability Calendar issues
Is it just me, or do the color codes on the *enhanced* OnePass reward availability calendar have absolutely no relationship to actual availability? I have tried several trips over different months, and the color coded days and resulting trip options are not even close to corresponding.

I've found that the colors do match. However, a Standard F award usually involves some labor-intensive connection(s) and/or a Jungle Jet segment.
I always indicate ALL on the Number of Flights to Display field.

Phew!!!!!!
I wondered if I was going color blind also. I tried to book PHL-LGW and PHL-AMS anytime in Sep with the nice colors that it showed. Unfortunately the best I could book was one way in B/F (50k) and a SleazyPass(tm) (another 50k) for the return. I then noticed the "elite login may give better results." So I logged in my Platinum stuff. A few more + colors came up but nil nice stuff.
I then tried EWR-LGW, EWR-BRU and EWR-AMS as I thought going via a hub would be easier. It was slightly better but it added mainly 1 (CLE) and 2 (MAN) connection flights totalling 12+ hours in route.
Its the old Continental Smoke-n-Mirrors(tm) crap again folks. I then called the so-called elite line but wore out after 30 min of (A) "What dates do you want me to try?" and (B) "Sorry no standard B/F availability for those dates".

My experience has been when its green on the calendar and you choose show all flights it will create a standard reward routing even if it's a bizarre one.
For example it popped out SNA/EWR/CLE/LGA for a SNA/LGA

While trying to book standard reward travel from CLE to AUA, I select dates and flights that show availability, but when I get to the end of the process, I get a screen that says "These flights are no longer available, please modify your search", Why would the "select" button be available when the flight isn't?
The same flights keep comming up daily, so it doesn't seem to be a case of just getting beat out by someone else while doing the booking process.

Worked for me - I really like the concept
FINALLY
Now that I have used up 500,000 miles I can squeeze something out of the remaining 200,000
Clearly shows that revenue management holds on to the tickets - Far more of availabilty within two to four weeks - Now it's a matter of jugglung the accomodation game ^

hmmmm
trying to book a domestic ticket, the outbound calender says F available yet when I click on the std award for F, only one of the two legs (neither legs are RJ's) comes up F
then when I click ok on the outbound the Can't find a seat for return segment shows up even though the calender says the Y is available???
maybe domestic is the problem as opposed to Int'L.. go figure
