CO and WPAA reliability
I was interested in booking a NW/KLM ticket from IAD to Africa for February 2005. Using the WPAA lister (I know it is mainly a NW tool, but NW is a partner), I was able to find some available C seats using the standard reward on NW/KLM. When I called the CO OnePass line to book these dates, those C seats were mentioned as not available, according to the customer service guy (who incidentally had never heard of the WPAA tool.)
A few questions:
1. Are all WPAA listed seats available to CO OnePass Members, just as they are to NW and KLM FF members? If not, why not?
2. Is there a better number than the main OnePass number to use to make bookings? Like a partner desk or something? What is the direct number to this desk?
3. Has anyone noticed an advance time when a bulk of FF seats become available? Six months out? Three?
Thanks!

Any chance you were trying to get more than one flight at a time? I've seen KLM be very funny about married segments.
I ran into this issue with KLM where SFO-AMS available, AMS-BCN available, but SFO-AMS-BCN not available on the very same flights.
We could confirm one, or the other, but not both on the same record. You can possibly work around that by taking a stopover in AMS.
You can use either the general CO res folks, or the partner desk. The folks at the partner award desk are better at handling tough situations because they do it day in and day out. They're open M-F during extended business hours and are based in SLC and can be reached at 1-800-344-3333, one of the optoins is for KLM.
