My butt hurts because I just fell off my chair! I emailed the OPSC last night for an ORC request. Two minutes after my email was sent I got an automated reply with a tracking ticket. I didn't expect a reply for at least 10 days.

Lo & behold I have an email from them this afternoon asking for proof that I took the Delta flights I got rebooked onto. As soon as I scan my BP's and send them over the email says my request will be processed. I've *never* had any request to the OPSC get a response in less than 10 days and 14-20 is more like the norm.

Here's the kicker - the OPSC addressed someone else in the email but it is my email that they replied to. Never seen that one before.

Of course I don't have a scanner with me as I'm on the road so I can't finish this until Monday but maybe the miles will actually post somewhat quickly thereafter :)

Since the root of this was due to a mechanical cancellation, I decided to book exclusively Delta until I receive a reply. Made Gold on DL in two months.

Okay, I wasn't really 'fighting' perse with CO, but I can say that I've 'wasted' quite a bit of time to get this done (or say, currently in the final 'stage' of getting my K fare LH flight credited to my Onepass account).

Flew on December 3rd with LH on FRA-CPT flight (~5600 miles and 11000 RDM with my Plat bonus), but it never credited to my account even 10 days after my flight (at the time, CO website showed 100% earnings on K fare, otherwise, I would have upfared to a mileage earning fare). I called & emailed CO... and on the phone, the agent promised that mileage will be credited in a week's time (she also noted that many onepass memebers were experiencing this issue and acknowledged that K fare on LH did earn 100%). I also received an email about 2 and half weeks ago saying that miles will be credited within 14 days! Great, I thought... but until today, no mileage credit... so I am now on the phone with CO.

The agent, after a long hold, confirmed that I should earn 100% (and also noted that they've updated the change on the website that K fare no longer earns). She said that they were many cases like this so CO is currently working on correcting this issue. I am still on hold, but it seems like she is going to make a manual adjustment to the accout?

It certainly was not the best experience, but it also wasn't worst either as I never really had to make significant efforts to make them understand the issue. All of them simply acknowledge that there were some error and have promised me to credit the miles... well, we will see about that until I actually see the miles in my account.

There are indeed more reports that CO is crediting LH K miles after all.

FINALLY received miles on a Copa Airlines flight from November 13, 2011! Three of the four segments on Copa credited immediately, but I've had to pull teeth to get my last 1,700 miles added to my account! Booooooo!:td:
