I've sent two e-mails in the last few months and there's been no reply whatsoever.
Oh, well. |
It usually takes me a few weeks to even get an auto-reply with a tracking number. I have to write about missing partner credits all the time, shopping and Amtrak. If they would just engage in some kind of dialogue instead of reading from a script, they would solve things a lot better.

It would seem that something is going on with the OP Service Center as I have tried calling three different times in the last week to check on some missing miles and each time I hung up at the 20 minute mark.
As a Platimum and 1K member it is annoying that there is no prompt in the begining for Elite/Premier Access. Despite these problems I did mail my boarding passes and e-ticket summary for a UA flight I took on the 19th of November. I received an e-mail confirmation and case number within hours and last night my miles posted. I feel a week turnaround time for miles credit is acceptable. I would have prefered however a few more automated mails stating the progress, this would have saved me the time I spent waiting on the phone. |

CO really needs to fix their technology so that this routine stuff is not as arduous. |

Will do! You as well, for your K flights, please.
Back on main topic, I'm having a hard time getting credit for Colgan flights when all mainline segments from the same itinerary posted months ago. All I have is the automated case number. Jeez. |
Tried to request missing miles for my family. One for myself on Oct.20th, one for my wife on Nov. 1st , and one for my father on Nov 13th. All got automatic reply saying received email but never saw mileage posting.:mad::mad:

Not only won't they post my miles earned through shopping, and not only won't they even respond to multiple emails over the last 3 months to post those miles, but now they have taken miles out of my account for a purchase that never went through. It is unbelievably frustrating that there is no recourse here either.

I finally received an email about mileage credit 2-3 months after submitting the initial claim. They said they'd be back in touch within 15 days... Fortunately, it's only 500 miles and not important for status this year.

In the "old days", say 4 months ago, I'd be able to get credit posted for a mistake within a week. These multi-week/month delays are really unacceptable. |
So, my update is rather a non-update...I've called the OPSC twice now, with no response other than they will address the problem "very soon." I also went ahead and submitted the flight on the UA website for one of us using the automated form, and received a written letter back that LH told them the flights were not eligible for credit. I then wrote to 1KVoice describing the problem, and stating that I needed to have the situation fixed. No response from them, either!
It looks like the best solution for us at this point will be for both my husband and myself to trade in the 10,000 RDMs per 1000 EQMs through our Chase cards. That will requal us for 1K and 1P. Unfortunately, I can't do that for my kids, so it looks like they will both remain GMs next year. This is the only year that we've all cut it so close for re-qualification, and I am so ANGRY AND FRUSTRATED at CO/UA at this horrible boondoggle. Now that I'm based in Europe, if I'm going to have to go through these hoops every time, I will seriously be considering switching mileage programs (not that many of the others are much better....). |

Maybe CO should have more people working the desk...especially as the merger integration continues. |

Did you or your family finally get mileage posting to the account(s)? Just submitted email form requesting missing mileage last week, so started to get worry whether miles will post before yr end (or at all)...:(
For anyone trying to get missing mileage requests done, much easier with UA. |
