SWU posting and usage questions
I very recently hit 100K and it's posted on my account. There's a few TATL flights that I would like to book that show upgrade availability which I would like to book asap. How long does it usually take for SWUs to be posted? Is it possible to call CO and ask them to post more quickly, or to book the flights and use unposted SWUs?
Alternatively, is it possible to book and upgrade the flights with $$$ + miles, and then when the SWUs post, call CO and ask them to credit the $$$ + miles and substitute the SWUs?

There is a sweep when the SWUs are credited. It may be every couple of weeks. You can call the elite desk and ask if you can get them posted sooner or if they will apply to your planned itinerary in advance.
