SWU on BF priority ??

Can someone link or list the UG priority (as shown on CO.com) for BF flights?

I am flying today and the results don't make much sense.

I booked 2 tickets together online for my (Silver) wife and I (PPlat, was Plat when booked >3 months ago). After the UA legs upgraded I had the PNR split. Last week. SWU's have been wait listed since booking for this leg (HNL IAH) >3 months.

I checked my wife in online first, then me. She appeared #1 and me #2. Now ~18 hrs later I am #3 and someone else is #2. They can't have higher status than me. They also can't have either higher fare or earlier wait list than me without also having it over her. Since they just appeared on the list they also can't have checked in between us. Based on what I know this just doesn't add up.

Only possibility I can think of is Pplat on same fare with SWU that checked in between when you checked your wife in and when you checked yourself in. Seems astronomically improbable, but that's the only explanation that comes to mind.

That couldn't have been it either as they didn't appear on the UG list for ~16 hours after we had checked in.

I suspect Shenanigans. I called the PPlat line, and they consulted with a colleague, and put me on hold for a bit only to tell me that they couldn't think of why the system should do it and suggested that either:
1) There was a different set of priority than what they understood (not likely)
2) It was an IT bug (possibly related to multiple system upgrades)
3) Someone at the local airport did it, for whatever reason, potentially even for some valid reason (Contract employees at HNL, not CO Employees BTW) (most likely)

When I got to the airport I went to the United Club (Legacy RCC) and asked them to check my place on the UG list as a GS who had waitlisted several months back they moved me to #1 on the list immediately.

As it turns out after boarding 2 FC seats opened up, and my wife & I got them, thanks to my "babysitting" my upgrade. I still dont really have any idea what place I really "Should" have been in though.

EDIT: The agent did explain that my Wife was correctly listed before me because my SWU effectively gave her my status for the upgrade, and since everthing else was the same (Fare, time of waitlist, time of purchase) time of check-in was the tiebreaker.

Well, I find it quite interesting that the RCC agent could do this. I wouldn't have even thought a CO PC agent would be able to manually change the upgrade standby list. Hmm.

PMUA is willing to do almost anything for GS, not too surprising

Nobody's questioning their will to do it, but I'm also surprised they could, based on how the system works.

The upgrade list on CO.com only includes passengers who have checked in, so we know they checked in after you did. Are you sure your CO number and not your MP number was on both your and your wife's reservations? I have had a couple mixed itineraries where the MP number somehow got associated with my reservation even after I had changed the reservation to add my OP number. This would have made your status lower than someone with a CO PPlat number on their reservation.

Exactly -- an agent on a UA system being able to interfere with a CO system that's more or less automated.

I was very surprised that they would, I didn't actually asked them to move me, only asked them if they knew why I was #3 and they quickly moved me and then told me they did so. Sometimes at the PC they will tell you where you are on the list (less of an issue with info on the web), but I have never had one move me on the list (with the exception of moving my wife up on the list by listing her as my companion instead of her own status)

I am fairly sure, the PPlat desk checked that my # was in correctly. That was the first thing they thought of as well.
