Security question IAH

Greetings,
I'm flying out this Thursday on US to CLT, 08:51 - T-A.
My mother-in-law is flying out of C at the same time.
Since she needs guidance I was wondering if it is applicable to go through T-C security line (that way I escort her to the plane) and then continue on to T-A providing I do not have any language with me.

Is it possible?

Yes. IAH is interconnected airside. Just make sure to take the monorail skytrain back to A, rather than exiting security.

There is a North and a South side of Terminal A. I think if you're in North (gates 1-15) you'll be fine. If you're in South (gates 17-30), you'll have to exit security and reclear on the South side. This last part is from memory, so I may be incorrect on that, and someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, just get there in plenty of time to escort your MIL to her gate, then take the skytrain to A. That way, if you have to reclear security, you'll have the time to do so.

The airside tram dumps on the north side and there is a walkway on the west side of A that allows you to get to the south side w/o exiting and re-entering secure area.

I think you'll be fine. The TSA people may point out you're in the wrong terminal but just tell them you want to see your MIL off before heading to Terminal A.

Thank you.
My concern is the TSA guys rather than navigating between terminals.

thanks!

I frequently enter security at IAH at a different terminal than my flight and have never had a problem. On occasion they will say "you know your flight is at terminal B, right" and I will respond with "yes, I parked here because I fly back into this side" which is quite common at IAH.
