ZERO B-up inventory

Checking flights EWR-IAH and LGA-IAH next wednesday. not a single flight has B-upgrade inventory while almost all have seats available up front (several seats in many cases). Anyone know if this is what we should expect in the new world or just something temporary going on with inventory due to the roll-out of the new fare classes, etc?

Really? You think this based on TWO routes on ONE day?
I see plenty of M-UP on other routes next week.

Uh yes. I didn't ask about whatever route you are referencing. I asked about NYC/IAH but thank you for being dismissive. Do a search of all EWR or LGA to IAH routes next week M-Th. Two flights have B-Up inventory TOTAL and both are on the 777 and both show 1 seat while the flights have multiple seats open in first. I fly this route almost weekly and have never seen such little (i.e., nearly zero) upgrade capacity. The following week has one or two additional flights with B-up inventory but can still count on one hand. The Fridays do have more flights.

Well, in that case, you're asking a very specific question and I can probably guarantee that nobody's going to have an answer or even care to speculate.

If you just wanted to complain, you didn't have to phrase your post in the form of a question, which now I'm guessing was rhetorical.

The PPE desk told me that they are having trouble with these due to the fare code switch over (ZE->PN). It was suggested to wait a few days and it should be fixed.

Thanks. This is helpful. Hopefully it gets ironed out soon.

Hi bdraco, that's correct. The schedule change that took place this past weekend to align our front cabin booking codes resulted in the fare code required for our instant upgrades not being available. We're shooting to have this corrected over the weekend.
