Question upgrade rules?

I'm sitting on CO 320 at the moment in 2E. There is a uniformed f/a and pilot also up front. Sure hope CO has accomodated all elites.

I'm confused at your question.

As the flight's closed, we can't see if the upgrade list was empty. Not sure why OP didn't do that while sitting in 2E.

Total shenas. Much to my surprise when I disembarked today (I was in 2E) there was a f/a in 4E, 4F, and a pilot in 4B. So that makes 5 uniformed employees in F. Just before I left iah I checked the upgrade standby list. There were 7 people on it and F said "checked in full". Shame on you CO.

I think this happens more than anyone realizes -- also happens on all airlines, just not continental.

Agreed. Nonetheless if I was one of the 7 pax that didn't get upgraded I wouldn't be too happy seeing all the seated uniforms as I walk back to cattle.

This whole thread is just pointless speculation. You have no idea who those crew members were, we have no idea, and there are plenty of legitimate reasons why there would be CO crew seated in F before EUAd elite pax. Could there have been something going on? Sure. But it's certainly possible that there wasn't.

What puts me off here is your tone trying to incite some sort of outrage about this, including bumping the thread when you didn't get any outrage, when you have no facts to present.

Unless of course they were all non-elite non-revs themselves. As has been noted many times on this board, not all people on the upgrade list are elites.

Please....incite outrage? Facts? I merely presented what I saw and what the numbers of people who were on the upgrade list. If they (the employees) were on the upgrade list for whatever reason, then fine.

See below - when a whole 4 hours, 15 minutes elapsed without a single outraged post.

If it's obvious shenanigans then clearly there must be some sort of evidence of this, right?

+1. I thought the bumping was particularly obnoxious.
